Linda Hamilton Joins The Cast Of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ For Season 5
Linda Hamilton, best known for her role as Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise, has been added to the cast of Stranger Things. The series, which is exclusive to Netflix, will soon be entering its fifth season. No information about Hamilton’s role has been released.
While the portrayal of Sarah in three Terminator films has solidified the character as Hamilton’s most well-known role, she has also appeared in Children of the Corn and the Beauty and the Beast TV series. Her work on Beauty and The Beast earned her an Emmy and two Golden Globes. Other actors who had major roles in the 80s who have appeared in the series include Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Cary Elwes, and Robert Englund.

Hamilton’s character is due to appear in the upcoming fifth season of the show, which will also be the last of the series. The season will not begin production during the WGA strike. “We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out. #wgastrong,” the Duffer brothers, who created the series, wrote in May when the topic came up. As a result, no date for the release of the final season has been announced.
