'Tales Of The Shire' Video Game Trailer Coming Soon!

First announced in September 2023, Tales of the Shire brings a cozy take on The Lord of the Rings franchise. The social media channels for the game have now started teasing the first trailer arriving soon, ready for its release some time this year.
In August 2022, it was announced that Weta Workshop and Private Division were working on an unannounced title within The Lord of the Rings franchise, joining both Return to Moria and Gollum in a greater push into video games. With the name of Tales of the Shire being revealed a year later, the type of game this will be was also teased.

While Return to Moria and Gollum were serious affairs, Tales of the Shire will be a more relaxing game. The artwork released in March 2024 shows a scene of hobbits at a picnic while others in the background are fishing at the river. So, with the description from that first announcement of it being a heart-warming and cozy game, there’s every possibility that this could be a life-farm sim within the Lord of the Rings universe.
With the first trailer coming soon, full details on Tales of the Shire should also be revealed. That is likely to be in April, with a full release date for this year also potentially being revealed at the same time.
