Starbucks To Release New 'Star Wars' Mugs In Their 'Been There' Line

Starbucks has added more fun mugs to their "Been There" series that feature various Star Wars planet designs. In the past, they have featured planets such as Navarro, Batuu, and Naboo. Each new mug also corresponds with either the prequel, original, or sequel trilogies. This year, these mugs showcase new Star Wars planets that were featured in past films.
The initial mug unveiled is a purple Coruscant mug. The mug showcases the Jedi Temple, Grand Master Yoda, and other memorable scenes from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. There are cool scenes printed on the mug like when young Anakin Skywalker is initially tested by the Jedi Order and when Darth Sidious addresses the Senate for the first time. Anakin’s quote from Attack of the Clones is printed on the side and says, “The entire planet is one big city.”

The cream-colored mug showcases BB-8, Finn, and Rey’s journey on Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It is the second mug in the collection. The mug even shares images from the Battle of Jakku but also First Order TIE Fighters. Most important is the inclusion of Finn’s thoughts on Jakku, “Why does everyone want to go back to Jakku?”
Out of all the mugs, the Mustafar mug is the most impressive. It showcases the iconic battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan on the lava flats. The mug features famous lines like "You underestimate my power" but also includes Obi-Wan's iconic quote "I have the high ground," as part of its design.
