'Spider-Man 4' Sets A Release Date
Get ready, Spider-Man fans! Tom Holland’s web-slinging hero returns to theaters on July 24, 2026. The untitled Columbia Pictures film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, will arrive just two months after Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on May 1, 2026. After the massive success of Spider-Man: Far From Home, this release strategy is bound to ramp up excitement and keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Holland shared with Good Morning America, “We are super close to having a creative, I think that is really worthy of the fans, but I think now we feel confident that the idea is strong enough that we can finally saying this is going ahead.”
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Holland confirmed that Spider-Man 4 will begin production in mid-2025, saying, “Next summer, we start shooting. Everything’s good to go—we’re nearly there. Super exciting. I can’t wait. " This gives fans plenty to look forward to.

In another interview on the Rich Roll Podcast, Holland revealed he’s already seen a script draft, noting that “it needs work, but the writers are dedicated and doing a great job.” He admitted that fitting the film into Marvel’s more extensive timeline is challenging but confidently called it a “tall order but achievable.”
With Spider-Man 4 now a top priority for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, anticipation is at an all-time high. Though it’s still unclear if Zendaya will return as MJ, excitement is building for Cretton’s first entry into the Spider-Man franchise!
