Ryan Reynolds Confirms Dogpool Will Be In 'Deadpool 3'
Ryan Reynolds wasted no time following the conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA strike, posting an exciting casting update for Deadpool 3. Dogpool is officially coming to the big screen! The actor introduced her in an Instagram post, the caption reading, “Did @Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024.” Check Dogpool out in all her pawsome glory below!
Those unfamiliar with the Deadpool comics in the Marvel Comics Universe may be wondering who exactly Dogpool is; he’s Deadpool from an alternate universe! On Earth-103173, a dog named Wilson was used as an experiment for a cosmetics company’s project, Mascara X; during the cruel treatment, he eventually developed healing abilities. After being abandoned by the corporation, Wilson joined a traveling circus where he remained until being recruited for the Deadpool Corps, the team of alternate universe Deadpools.
