Pixar Unveils The First Trailer For 'Inside Out 2'
Disney Pixar has released a teaser trailer for Inside Out 2, the long-awaited sequel to 2015’s Inside Out. The teaser showcases Riley’s “emotional headquarters” being completely and unexpectedly upended by a bunch of “construction workers,” leaving behind a new orange console and an orange being who (anxiously) identifies themselves as, well, “Anxiety”. Per IMDb, the movie is set to follow Riley as a teenager starting to experience new emotions.
Much of the original cast is expected to return, including Amy Pohler (Joy), comedian/actor Lewis Black (Anger), and Phyllis Smith (Sadness). Kaitlyn Dias will also reprise her role as an older Riley and Diane Lane as her mother. “Disgust” and “Fear” will have new actors in the sequel, with Liza Lapira and Tony Hale replacing Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader, respectively. New characters/emotions include Anxiety (Stranger Things’ Maya Hawke).
