Rockstar Games Delivers A Message About The Next 'Grand Theft Auto'

While many expected a reveal of the next Grand Theft Auto game around its 25th anniversary, it seems Rockstar Games had other plans all along. Sharing a statement on the Rockstar Games newswire, co-founder and president Sam Houser shared that in early December, the first trailer for that next game will be released.
December 2023 is a significant time for Rockstar Games. As the opening line in that newswire post states, “Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games.” Thanking the fans for their support over the years, Houser said, “In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.”

Soon, fans will be getting their first official look at the next Grand Theft Auto after years of speculation. That speculation was further fueled by the leaks of last year, which revealed many details about this new game. Back then, Rockstar issued a statement saying they were “extremely disappointed to have any details of our next game shared with you all in this way.” Now, Sam Houser and the Rockstar Games team are excited to be showing things on their terms with this first trailer.
