The 'Peanuts' Gang Heads To The Big City In A New Movie Coming To Apple TV+
The Peanuts gang is being given an update with a feature-length movie for Apple TV. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Woodstock, and the rest of the gang will be returning. But that’s not the only familiar name on the roster. Steve Martino, the director of the 2015 Peanuts Movie has signed on to direct the newest film. He’s well known in children's cinema, having worked on the Ice Age Franchise and Horton Hears a Who!
The script will also reportedly be penned by a team comprised of from the previous Peanuts film. Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano all wrote for the successful older incarnation. They will be joined by Karey Kilpatrick who helped create the scripts for Chicken Run and Over The Hedge.

The studio responsible for the Peanuts reboot is the Canadian entertainment company, Wildbrain. They specialize in zany kids’ comedies like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Supernoobs. They also have a long history of working with the franchise so hopefully can stay true to the American staple. It’ll be interesting to see what they make of Charlie Brown!
