Calling all Hollywood memorabilia collectors and movie fans alike, a special opportunity is rapidly approaching!  This June Propstore, a massive vendor for a wide range of pop culture memorabilia, is putting on their annual auction. From Star Wars to Marvel to DC, they have a unique and interesting stock with some big-ticket items strewn throughout.

The item expected to be most notable for the event is Princess Leia’s medal ceremony dress designed by John Mollo, who won an Oscar for his Star Wars designs. It was seen in the Royal Award Ceremony scene of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope where the character awarded Han and Luke with medals of bravery. Despite the rarity of Leia’s costumes for this film, it was certified authentic.

One of the six Batpods used for The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012) starring Christian Bale is up for auction as well. While the item was rendered undrivable and in “Rolling Only” condition, it’s fixed with the custom chassis, a Honda 750 engine, fiberglass cannon barrels, and a metal display stand. The use and history of the prop are still unique and an allure to devoted Batman fans.
