Prime Releases 'Batman: Caped Crusader' Trailer
A new trailer for the highly-anticipated Prime Video animated series Batman: Caped Crusader has dropped. In this first full look, tension is built off the bat with a discordant clash of music notes and the less-than-positive opinions of the vigilante being expressed. Throughout the trailer, a variety of characters are shown, from Firefly to Catwoman to Jim Gordon and many more. A pattern of bombing incidents sets up a larger conspiracy for Batman to unravel in this new series. Check out the trailer below!
Batman: Caped Crusader is set during the earlier years of Bruce Wayne’s vigilante career, bringing a new vision to the classic story. According to the series description, the Bat’s “one-man crusade attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.” The lineup of classic Rogues teased in the trailer promises ramifications that live up to the description.

The first season of Batman: Caped Crusader hits Prime Video on August 1, 2024; there will be ten episodes in total, all released at once. A second season has been ordered, but a release window has not been named. The cast includes Hamish Linklater as Batman, Christina Ricci as Catwoman, Diedrich Bader as Harvey Dent, and Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, among many others. Batman content veteran Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves, and J. J. Abrams developed it as a team.
