Permadeath And Other Features Coming To 'Assassin's Creed Mirage'
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the newest game within the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It follows Basim in 9th-century Baghdad on his journey to becoming a master assassin. It serves as somewhat of a prequel to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game is only a month old and will be getting some new features, starting with a free update in December.
The game is different from its predecessors and has gone back to its stealthy roots, just like the original games. It also has a much shorter runtime than the previous installments. Players want to increase their time with the game, and with Basim, so it comes as no surprise, that some are asking for a new game plus mode. Those requests have been heard, and the new mode will be coming to the game soon. It will enable players to restart the game but with Basim at his most powerful.

This isn’t the only feature that is coming to the game, a new permadeath mechanic will also be introduced. Just like the new game plus, this is entirely optional, and a good mechanic for those who want to be challenged. This feature would extend the game's playtime and would raise the stakes for every encounter.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 &5, and PC.
