New Photos And Videos Show Lady Gaga As Harley Quinn On The Set Of 'Joker: Folie A Deux'

More photos and videos show Lady Gaga hard at work as Harley Quinn on the NYC set of Joker: Folie A Deux.

The images and video, taken by outside sources, show Lady Gaga going up and down the stairs of a building, being escorted by Gotham Police and surrounded by protestors supporting the Joker. Looking around at the crowd, there are posters with “FREE JOKER” written on them, so one could make a bold assumption that Ms. Quinn is heading to court.

While not in full Harley Quinn gear like we’re used to seeing, Gaga wears a red blazer with frilled sleeves, a white and black top, a black skirt, and stockings. All of the different fabrics (with an exception of her skirt) have a diamond (also known as harlequin) pattern design, giving a fashionable yet subtle nod to her character.

Gaga’s face is painted with stereotypical harlequin makeup, featuring diamond shapes around her eyes with thin lines vertically drawn away, all in black. She also sports bleached-blonde slicked-back hair, with heavy dark roots showing.

One video shows Gaga at the top of the stairs, turning as she joins the protestors’ chants of, “FREE JOKER,” while pumping her fist in the air in time with the chant.
Thanks to the awesome invention that is the zoom lens, we’re treated to the front page of the Gotham Gazette with a mugshot of Harleen Frances Quinzel, an inlay of the Joker, and the words “CRAZY IN LOVE” in giant letters.

Little is still known about the plot of the Todd Philips-directed film, except that it will have a massive budget of $150 million, it will be a musical, and it will partially take place in Arkham Asylum.
Joker: Folie à Deux dances into theaters on October 4th, 2024.
