New Hulu/Disney+ Alien Series Name Reveal, Plus Movie Release Next Month

Ever since at least 2023, fans of the “Alien” franchise have been waiting excitedly for the announced TV series to come to fruition, eagerly lapping up each new tidbit of information about the series. Now, fans can celebrate the newest, most exciting bit of information: the series’ name.

Currently going by the series title “Alien: Earth,” the series is expected to debut on Hulu and Disney+ sometime in 2025. According to FX network boss John Landgraf, principal production on the series has wrapped, and the production process is now going into the long post process, with a focus on things like visual effects.

When the series is completed and released, fans will be able to enjoy performances from the likes of Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Kit Young, and Lily Newmark, among others. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the final trailer for “Alien: Romulus,” the latest stand-alone film in the Alien franchise. This film will take the series back to its roots, with a crew scavenging a derelict space station, only to encounter the most terrifying life form in the universe.

Alien: Romulus is set to debut in theatres on August 13th.
