While the series boasted an impressive and diverse cast and a new take on the, by now, well-trodden world of Umbrella’s Machiavellian machinations. However, Netflix doesn’t look like it needs any green herbs, with some big-name adaptations like Wednesday, One Piece, Avatar, and The Witcher: Blood Origin shambling over the hill like an undead mob. However, disappointed Resident Evil fans also have some potentially great content on the horizon, with Resident Evil VII: The Winters Expansion, Village Gold and VR Editions, and RE: Verse due for release before the end of the year. Most excitingly, perhaps, a remake of the seminal Resident Evil 4 is scheduled for release in March of 2023.
