At the San Diego Comic-Con, the Marvel Cinematic Universe announced it is returning to form by creating a comic inspired by the Loki series on Disney Plus. The comic will take place in the Time Variance Authority or TVA. The story will follow Miss Minutes as she recruits a group of heroes to uphold the timestream by preventing and subduing temporal anomalies. That group includes Ghost-Spider, Captain Carter, and Remy Lebeau along with two new characters that share Miss Minute’s appearance: Sir Seconds and Doc Clock. Characters from the show such as Mobius, Ouroboros, Hunter B-15, and Sylvie will also be present in the comic.

Kathryn Blair, a writer for Loki, will write the comic with illustrations by Pere Perez. Kevin Feige shared his excitement for the product, “I love this idea. It’s just as cool to see our work in comics as it is to bring the work of comic book creators to the big screen.” The TVA debuted in the first season of Loki and returned in the recent Deadpool & Wolverine film. The first issue of the comic TVA #1 will be released in stores on December 18, 2024. Marvel Unlimited subscribers will gain access at a later date.
