Fans can celebrate after Kevin Feige’s recent comments regarding Tom Holland’s next outing as everyone’s favorite neighborhood Spider-Man. Feige spoke with Entertainment Weekly and said the script is currently developing; “We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.”

Feige did not go into further detail on the fourth installment or if Holland will appear in one or both of the upcoming Avengers films. The film also featured previous Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, donning their respective wall-crawling alter egos.

Sony executive Amy Pascal told Fandango in late 2021 of Spider-Man’s future in the MCU, “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel - [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

The upcoming Avengers film is set for release on May 1, 2026, titled Avengers: Secret Wars. Based on a twelve-issue comic run of the same name, with Spider-Man teaming up with Captain America, Hulk, and Hawkeye.
