Lydia Gets Serenaded In New 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' Teaser As Tickets Go On Sale
The final trailer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has dropped as tickets go on sale in cinemas for the September 6th release. The sequel comes thirty-six years after Beetlejuice first hit theatres and Michael Keaton still looks just as good in the black and white suit.
Jenna Ortega said that "my soul left my body" when she first saw Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice: "I wanted to remember it for the rest of my life"

In the trailer, Keaton aptly serenades co-star Winona Ryder with Richard Marx’s Right Here and Waiting. So expect this movie to go hard (and retro) on its soundtrack as the Bee Gees’ Tragedy and a version of Harry Bellefonte’s Banana Boat (Day O) has also been used in previous promotional material.
It’s rumored that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will open with the family returning to Winter River after the death of Lydia’s father. Jenna Ortega will be playing Lydia’s daughter, Astrid. Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, Justin Theroux and Danny DeVito are some of the big names joining the original Deetz family. Both Lydia (Winona Ryder) and Delia (Catherine O’Hara) have joined Tim Burton’s passion project. It’s always a good sign when so many old cast members are happy to return.
The final trailer gives us glimpses of the Beetlejuice newspaper advert, Winter River model and the sandworms in the afterlife. It looks as if Tim Burton won’t be straying too far from the blueprint of the first movie. And why would he? It made 74 million (on a 15-million-dollar budget), all the way back in the 80s. The ghost with the most.
