Live-Action 'Spider-Man Noir' Series Coming Starring Nicholas Cage

If the current trend of superhero movies hasn’t caused you to feel superhero fatigue, you’ve seen superhero genres blend with several other genres. Recently, you’ve likely seen your heroes in a variety of situations: seeing Clint and Kate do some street-level detective work and fighting in Hawkeye, Captain Marvel leading a team of ladies through the Sci-Fi adventure in The Marvels, getting introduced to a whole new world in Shang-Chi, see a man with multiple personalities interact with whimsical gods in Moon Knight, fight crime both on the streets and in court in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and share their internal struggles in WandaVision. However, we haven’t seen a noir film. We however soon will with a series called Noir, focusing on Spider-Man Noir from the Spider-Verse series.

The character, who has been in comics since 2009, is an alternate Peter Parker from a different universe. He is a noir detective in the great depression who was also bitten by a radioactive spider. He made his first film appearance in Into The Spider-Verse, voiced by Nick Cage, and cameoed in Across The Spider-Verse, with a hint that he would return in Beyond The Spider-Verse.

Noir will feature Cage returning to his role with the series being released to Prime Video.
