Kate Siegel Starring In Zombie Thriller 'Epilogue'
Mike Flanagan fans have even more to get excited about. It has been just over a week since it was announced that he is working with Stephen King on a series adaptation of Carrie, and it has now also been confirmed that he will be producing a brand new zombie film. The film will be directed by Michael Fimognari, who has previously worked with Flanagan on Gerald’s Game, Oculus, Fall of the House of Usher, and Doctor Sleep. It will also star Kate Siegel (Hush, Fall of the House of Usher) and David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, The Last Voyage of the Demeter), who are both absolute powerhouses in the horror genre. The film has been written by Luke Barnett and Tanner Thomason and is being described as an action-horror film titled Epilogue.
Epilogue will be set one year after the zombie apocalypse has come to an end and will follow a couple who are desperate to find a cure for their daughter, who is infected. There is no word yet on when we can expect the film to be released, but it is expected that sales will begin next week at the American Film Market. Other producing credits on the film include Todd Garner, Kate Siegel, Courtney Petrakis, and Brittney McDade.
