It’s soon to be the most wonderful time of the year once again! And to make it just that extra bit special for fans of Critical Role, a holiday EP named Winter’s Crest is now available. Featuring four songs performed by the cast of Critical Role, this EP is available on all major digital music platforms for purchase and streaming.

Matthew Mercer performs “Winter’s Crest Festival Time”, while Laura Bailey performs “Silent Mind”. Both Travis Willingham and Ashley Johnson perform “Twelve Days of Grogmas”, while all the cast members join together for “It’s Critmas!”. The members perform as both themselves and as characters they’ve played, so fans will hear references to the Vox Machina, Mighty Nein, and Bells Hells campaigns. The name of the album is also a reference to one of those campaigns, being a beloved holiday of Tal’Dorei, the setting for Campaign 1, Vox Machina.

Sam Riegel served as creative director on the album, with Peter Habib serving as executive producer. All instruments and additional background vocals were also provided by Habib. Nate Gonzalez and Jordyn Torrence designed the cover art, with Adelle Kincel illustrating the cast members. The crew of Critical Role hope that these songs can bring joy to both fans and non-fans alike, celebrating the sense of community that this time of year is meant to bring. They are also encouraging the use of the songs for remixes, sing-alongs, and covers as long as creators link to the album.
