Jordan Peele's 'Him' Stars Marlon Wayans And Gets A Release Date

One of the hottest directors today is the comedy legend Jordan Peele. Making up one half of the brilliant “Key and Peele” comedy duo, Peele burst onto the scene with his critical and commercial hit Get Out, a film that scored him an Oscar for Best Screenplay and wrongfully didn’t win Best Picture. His subsequent films, Us and Nope were both still successful, but neither reached the mega heights of Get Out. Now we’re getting his latest movie.

Titled Him (what is it with Peele and super short movie titles?) the film will star Marlon Wayans and be released September 19th 2024. While we don’t have any plot details yet, Peele has high expectations for the film.

RELATED:

The film will be a psychological horror movie like his previous efforts. Also given his last films, the film will doubtlessly have social commentary that add another layer to the film, though again, he hasn’t woven that in as nicely as he did with Get Out, but maybe he can improve that this time.

While his directorial filmography is extremely limited at the moment, Peele is establishing himself as one of the best filmmakers working in Hollywood right now. More details will surely arise as we get closer to the September release date, and it will be exciting to see what he does next.
