The John Wick universe is expanding once more. There have been four movies, The Continental prequel series, and the upcoming Ballerina spin-off, all within the franchise. John Wick: Chapter 5 is also in development.  Fans have a lot to look forward to in the franchise, but that’s not all, as a John Wick sequel TV series is officially in the works.

The show is being developed by Lionsgate TV, which is the same company that releases the movies. It will pick up immediately after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4, and give fans a glimpse of what is going on with the mysterious organization we saw in the film. The show is tentatively titled John Wick: Under The High Table.

A synopsis has been released and reveals that John Wick has left the world of the High Table in a tenuous position. A collection of new characters will look to make a name for themselves, while some familiar characters remain committed to old-world order. The series will combine old and new elements and will thrust the universe into a new age.

Keanu Reeves is set to be an executive producer on the series. That doesn’t mean however that John Wick himself will appear, especially after the events of the fourth movie. John Wick director Chad Stahelski is also set to executive produce and direct the pilot.
