Jeremy Renner Will Release A Collection Of Songs Inspired By Snowplow Accident
At the start of this year, Jeremy Renner had an accident with a snowplow that caused him life-threatening injuries. Having recovered from those injuries, he has now recorded several songs that mark the various milestones of his recovery, naming the collection Love and Titanium.
That title references a comment he made to ABC during his recovery in the spring. “I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.” That accident saw him break more than 30 bones upon being crushed by his 14,300-pound snowcat vehicle, which saw him recovering for most of this year. Now, the Avengers: Endgame star is gathering the courage to share these songs.

As stated in an Instagram post, these songs have “been painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic for me to create. I hope I get the courage to share with you all.” Renner’s post includes the image of part of the album cover showing its title, with the word soon above it. From his words, these songs will likely be deeply personal and emotional, especially if someone is aware of Renner’s road to recovery.
Renner has talked about his experiences, most recently with CNN, “There is a lot of gifts that I received because of it. When you’re tested physically, emotionally, spiritually, in every way, and then to come through it, that’s something hard to explain. Perseverance. Strength. It’s all a mental game. I put it in my back pocket now. I know how to deal with pain. It’s all mind. It’s all in the mind. If you can sift through the fog of it all, I am very blessed.”
