A couple of years ago, Beth Revis wrote a Star Wars novel revolving around Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo, The Princess and the Scoundrel. When it comes to Leia and Han’s wedding, not much had been detailed about it until this release in August 2022. The novel beautifully examines their relationship, wedding, and honeymoon, as Revis reminds the Star Wars universe and its fans, “every battle has hope, every dark time has love… it’s worth pausing the struggle to feel the joy.” The Princess and the Scoundrel reveals the events just after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, following the rebels’ victory against the Empire. Revis leads the way highlighting the couple’s wedding on Endor and their honeymoon on the Halcyon Legacy, the very same as the now-defunct Galactic Starcruiser experience at Walt Disney World.

Soon, Star Wars fans of all ages will be able to experience the light side of Star Wars through the moments of Leia and Han’s fairy tale wedding in a picture book. Someone Who Loves You joins the work of Beth Revis with illustrator Sophie Li to create marvelous moments of tranquility in a universe so often tainted with battles and threats. In the story, Leia and Han explain what they mean to each other, and what love really is, to the Ewok children just before their wedding on the planet Endor.

Revis and Li collaborated brilliantly to bring the visual experiences and the vivacity of the Star Wars family to life. We’ll see Someone Who Loves You hit shelves on December 3, 2024.
