Everything We Learned About ‘Kraven The Hunter’ At New York Comic Con

Sony held a panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday ight and discussed some of its upcoming properties. One of these was the upcoming movie Kraven The Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor Johnson. The panel discussed the film, and fans in attendance even saw some clips from the upcoming movie.
The first clip shown was the movie intro. It sets up the dark tone of the film as we see Kraven arrive at a Russian prison colony. It’s a place that no one wants to end up in, and Kraven assures his new cellmate that he won’t be there for long. He’s correct, and using his skills, he can escape the prison and run off into the cold night. This is where the clip ended.

Another clip showed soldiers going after Kraven. However, Kraven has the skills to survive and hunt, which is exactly what he does. He brutally murders the soldiers in many different ways, including with a bear trap to the face. This clip was a great example of why the movie got an R rating.
One of the biggest surprises of the panel was Aaron Taylor Johson. The Kraven actor came out to screaming fans to join the director, J.C. Chandor, in talking about the film. They assure us that the film is good and was fun to make. J.C. says how Aaron was “born to play Kraven”.
Kraven The Hunter is exclusively in theaters on December 13th, 2024
