Empire Magazine Celebrates 25 Years Of ‘Star Wars’ Prequels With Collectors' Art Covers
Empire Magazine has revealed they are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Two collectors’ covers, one light side, and one dark side, will adorn the next issue out this week.
As part of the celebrations, Empire Magazine will have many interviews with the stars of the prequels. These include Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, and more. There will also be many features within the issue revisiting iconic sequences with several members of the crew, including the Podrace of The Phantom Menace and the epic Mustafar duel of Revenge of the Sith. They even had a chat with Matt Doran, Mr “Do you want to buy some deathsticks” himself.
The two covers on sale publicly feature the iconic characters of the prequel trilogy, with Anakin front and centre on both. These light side and dark side covers have been illustrated by Paul Shipper. For subscribers, they have a cover illustrated by Bill McConkey, which fills the entire cover with poseable figures of iconic and lesser-known characters from across the trilogy, including a few droids.
There will be non-Star Wars content also within this latest issue, such as a look at X-Men ’97 and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. That plus much more will be available at newsstands from February 15. So buy it. Buy it now. It most certainly is the Jedi way.
