Cartoon fans around the whole of Canada and North America ought to be excited after reading the most recent tweet thread from a fellow cartoon lover, CN News/Schedules:

For those unfamiliar, both cartoons feature an individualized sense of whacky humor. Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy is famous for its lovingly violent and imaginative appeal of three boys hellbent on getting some delicious jawbreakers. Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is from the perspective of a young boy and his imaginary friend who discover the home dedicated to the imaginary friends that kids have given up. Both cartoons take their own creative approach to portray growing up.

The above-tweeted thread also provides the Amazon links to each boxed set, also found at the bottom of the page. The thread continues with “Not much information is known…whether they’ll actually be ‘complete’ (the complete sets on iTunes miss a few specials) or what new special features, if any, will be there.”

A two-panel meme of two characters from "Ed, Edd, and Eddy": "Where'd you come from?" "Blame my parents, Eddy."

After some light reading, it’s undetermined how many episodes are in the 11-disc set for Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, but we do find that the 10-disc set for Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy contains 66 episodes with some special features. While it’s hard to remember all the episodes about those Ed Boys, sources such as IMDB say there were as many as 80 episodes, an unverified source went on to claim that there are over 130 episodes.

The amazon listings for both boxed sets states that their release date is October 18th, 2022, so that would be the best time to check if either is in stock! For those who are impatient, Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy seasons 1 through 5 are available to stream on HBO Max and iTunes, and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is available on TV channels BOOMSP (920) and BOOM (253).
