Dragon Age Day is December 4th, and to celebrate, BioWare has released an update about the next installment, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. Only a little is known about the game, besides the fact it will take place after the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition. BioWare has revealed on their X account that a full reveal will happen in Summer 2024. The company has released a new trailer, encompassing the world of Thedas.

The trailer is quite short and shows the different areas within the world of Dragon Age. It’s reminiscent of the Game Of Thrones intro, with the trailer showing the three locations in map format. Between the locations, however, appear to be in-game environments that range from shadowy cities to beach towns that have nearly crumbled away. The different areas include Antiva, Rivain, and Anderfels. Each is narrated by a different character, and the area of Anderfels appears to relate to the Grey Wardens. BioWare shared more about the map of the game on their website, and has said that it will have many more locations than previous games, including some new ones.

With the Game Awards later this week, it seems BioWare wanted to make it clear that fans shouldn’t expect anything regarding the game during the show. While we could see a teaser, it is highly unlikely, and fans should wait until the Summer 2024 reveal, where they will finally find out more about the long-awaited installment.
