A new mod called Baldur’s Village brings together the worlds of Balder’s Gate 3 and Stardew Valley. This fan-made exploration brings the Dungeons & Dragons-based game to the farming simulator format. Users can experience new characters and scenarios and new shops in Stardew Valley.
The game will feature six new locations and at least twenty new characters, but there will also be major character features, such as Astarion. Other non-playable characters will be Karlach and Alfira, with whom players can interact, such as walking into their homes and having dialogue during gameplay.
The mod's description reads, “A new village has recently been built north of Pelican Town, and its new residents seem… rather unusual. You can find the entrance to Baldur’s Village at the top of the southern mountain map, right next to Linus’ tent.” It describes, “Baldur’s Village is a large expansion mod for Stardew Valley, inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3. It introduces a brand-new village map and NPCs while staying true to the game’s original atmosphere. Among them, Astarion features a fully developed personal storyline and is available for marriage.”

As this fan-created mod continues to gain popularity, even Swen Vincke, the co-founder and CEO of developer Larian Studios, the creator of Baldur’s Gate 3, wrote on X, “So much love went into this - amazing work.”
