Disney Releases Trailer For New 'Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures' Episodes

With the first season of The Acolyte wrapped up, Disney wasted no time advertising its next project in a galaxy far, far, away. The studio released a trailer for the second season of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. The trailer is full of action shots of the young Jedi dueling with lightsabers while a Yoda voiceover explains, “Younglings, you must face new trials, confront new dangers, and explore new worlds.” The show takes place in the High Republic era, around 200 years before The Phantom Menace which places it a century before The Acolyte on the Star Wars timeline.

Showrunner Michael Olson shared his excitement for the new season, “This season, our heroes face thrilling challenges, welcome spirited Padawan Wes Vinik and a new class of younglings to Tenoo, and reunite with friends from across the galaxy. Together, they’ll learn important lessons about friendship, compassion, and overcoming fears. This heartfelt and action-packed season will be a thrilling ride, and we can’t wait to share it with you.” The season will continue the narrative of the Jedi training with the new padawan Wes Vivik and his astromech thrown in the mix. The new season of Young Jedi Adventures premieres on Disney Plus and Disney Jr. on August 14. Check out the full trailer below.
