Disney Dreamlight Valley has announced an expansion pass, due to drop on December 5th, just in time for Christmas. The SIMS-esque game allows players to design their own characters and surroundings, but all in the signature Disney style. There are plenty of mini-games and challenges to keep players occupied, but the game has been out since September 2022, so it’s about time for some new content.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time will allow players to travel to Eternity Isle. Disney has priced the update at $29.99 for a reason; it’s a big expansion. The new island is about the same size as the existing valley, and Disney has added new animals and cooking ingredients.

The story will unfold across three biomes and three acts. The Cave of Wonders appears in the trailer, along with Jafar, so it’s safe to say that one of these could be Aladdin-related. As part of the expansion, players will discover ancient machines that can automate some of their daily tasks, new figurines, and an in-game board game called Scramblecoin.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, Switch, PC, and iOS when it is released on 5th December.
