'Demon Slayer' To Conclude with 'Infinity Castle' Movie Trilogy
The final act of the hit anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is on the horizon, and fans will get to witness it on the big screen worldwide as Aniplex announced that the series' final arc, Infinity Castle will be adapted as a movie trilogy.
This news comes immediately following the conclusion of Demon Slayer’s fourth season, subtitled the Hashira Training arc which gave fans a bit of a breather, primarily focusing on our heroes, and their mentors, the Hashira, preparing for what will be the greatest battle of their lives, while fleshing out much of the series’ supporting cast.

Demon Slayer is no stranger to theatrical productions either, as the series first movie, covering the Mugen Train arc was released in theaters in late 2020, and was a massive critical and financial success despite the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, becoming not only the highest-grossing film of 2020 but the highest grossing Japanese film of all time. Since then, the premieres for the third and fourth seasons would receive brief theatrical runs ahead of their TV debut as well.
While the announcement that Infinity Castle will be a movie trilogy has hyped up many fans, some have expressed concern about delays between the Japanese and International releases of the films, as many remember that Mugen Train wasn’t released worldwide until about six months after premiering in Japan. Although the theatrical premieres of Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training Arc did occur within days of one another worldwide, so it’s anyone’s guess as to how these films will be launched.
All four seasons of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba are available to stream on Hulu and Crunchyroll. Seasons 1-3 are available on Netflix. Both Netflix and Hulu also have the TV version of the Mugen Train arc, but the movie is streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.
