Del Rey Publishing Revealed The Cover Of Sam Maggs' 'Jedi: Battle Scars' Tie-In Novel For 'Jedi: Survivor'

Cal Kestis and the crew of the Stinger Mantis are set to embark on a new adventure. Del Ray publishing unveiled the cover of Sam Maggs’ forthcoming novel, Jedi: Battle Scars, on Thursday.
The novel, a tie-in to the popular video game franchise, is set between Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the hotly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, set to launch in March 2023. The newly revealed cover features Cal Kestis alongside his crew, Merrin, Cere, and Greez, while the omnious spectre of the Fifth Brother looms over them.

According to Starwars.com, the novel follows Jedi Cal Kestis and the crew of the Stinger Mantis on a mission that brings them face-to-face with a reformed Stormtrooper. The former Imperial offers them an invaluable tool in their fight against the Empire, in exchange for a chance at a new life. However, pursuing this weapon means the crew will have to put their fate in the hands of an unlikely ally, and they may cross paths with the dangerous Inquisitor Fifth Brother.
Author Sam Maggs is also known for her work on Marvel Action: Captain Marvel, The Unstoppable Wasp: Built on Hope, Tell No Tales, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. This highly anticipated Star Wars story is set to hit shelves March 7, 2023.
