Christmas-Themed Behind-The-Scenes Video Released By Director Of ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods'

Christmas may have come and gone. However, Shazam! director had a surprise gift to share with DC fans. Even though the cast of Shazam! Fury of The Gods has finished wrapping the film, they still found time to celebrate the Christmas season in a behind-the-scenes video posted by David F. Sandberg. Sandberg mentioned this would the last Christmas before the movie releases. Of note, Sandberg and his wife Lotta Lonsen have celebrated two different Christmases during the production of the Shazam! sequel.
The video shows Marta Milans and Rachel Zegler (still in full costume) dancing and singing Christmas carols in the middle of a snowstorm. Rachel Zegler plays Anthea, a classic character from Greek mythology but a newcomer to the DC Extended Universe. Marta Milans reprises her role as Billy Bastion’s foster mother Rosa Vasquez.

In Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Billy Bastion and his foster siblings will face off against the Daughters of Atlas, including Anthea, to prevent them from destroying the world. Along the way, they must learn to appreciate the superpowers that they have taken for granted.
The film is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on March 17, 2023.
