Bryce Dallas Howard And The Daniels Headline List Of Directors For 'Skeleton Crew' Revealed At ‘Star Wars’ Celebration
The wait is over for the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew directors announcement, and the lineup doesn’t disappoint. Jon Watts is joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, the Daniels, David Lowery, Lee Isaac Chung, and Jake Schreier as directors for the series during Star Wars Celebration Europe. Their specific credits haven’t been released yet.
Bryce Dallas Howard has both acting and directing experience for the Star Wars universe. Not only did she voice Jedi Master Yaddle in Tales of the Jedi, but she also has directed several episodes of The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, known collectively as the Daniels, started their career as music video directors. They broke into film and television around 2013. One of their most recent, and most massive, credits is the 2022 sci-fi adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once.
You may recognize Jon Watts as the creator of the show. He has a range of experience in the director’s chair, including the MCU Spider-Man trilogy and a 2014 horror film titled Clown.
David Lowery has been a writer and director for several decades. Some of his most famous work includes Pete’s Dragon (2016), an episode of Cinema Toast, and The Green Knight (2021).
Lee Isaac Chung kicked off his career with great success. His first film, Munyurangabo (2009), received high praise from many sources and critics. He has directed several other projects, including Lucky Life (2010), Minari (2020), and an episode of The Mandalorian.
Jake Schreier is known for a range of projects, from music videos to television to film. He is best known for Paper Towns (2015), an episode of Shameless, and Robot & Frank (2012). Schreier is also the director of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts.
The Star Wars galaxy is huge, and the main characters of Skeleton Crew are about to find out just how huge. Skeleton Crew is an upcoming live-action series following lost four kids as they try to find their way home. An official release date hasn’t been announced yet, however filming wrapped up in January, making a late 2023 premier possible. There will reportedly be 8 episodes in total.
