The two world’s most notorious heavy metal t-shirt-wearing best buddies are back. Paramount Plus has dropped a teaser trailer for season two of Beavis and Butthead.

The 90s cult comedy classic has been with the channel since its return in 2022. So far, the revival has been a massive improvement on the much-maligned eighth season (2011) and it has stuck to the original formula that fans love so much. Season two looks to be more of the same, the trailer is full of sight gags and dumb observational comedy that the show is famous for.

It’s impressive for a series that started on MTV as a short in 1992 to still be getting laughs thirty years later. The show has even spawned a movie (Beavis and Butthead do America), a hit spin-off (Daria), and is now in its eleventh season. A record many sitcoms would be jealous of. Interestingly, Beavis and Butthead isn’t the only one of creator Mike Judge’s projects being revived. King of The Hill is reportedly coming to Hulu this year.

The first two episodes of Season Two of Beavis and Butthead will be available for streaming on Paramount Plus in the US and Canada on 20th April, but other regions such as Australia and the United Kingdom will have to wait an extra twenty-four hours to view the satirical pair in all their glory.
