After nearly four years of writing Marvel Comics, Jason Aaron is ready to conclude his work on the Avengers mythology with a grand and epic finale assembling Marvel’s mightiest heroes of all time.

Starting on November 30th, Marvel Comics is releasing Avengers Assemble Alpha #1 which will unite The Avengers, Avengers Forever, and Avengers of 1.000.000 BC in an epic saga. For this concluding work, Aaron will be joined for the first time by the British comics artist, Bryan Hitch, as well as by his regular artists Javier Garrón and Aaron Kuder.

According to the synopsizes, Avengers 63# will give us a crossover between the modern Avengers and the prehistoric ones from 1.000.000 BC, who will need to team up if they want to save the multiverse. Furthermore, in Avengers Forever #12, multiple groups of characters will need to unite to defend the Infinity Tower against Mephisto and The Masters of Evil.

As stated by Aaron himself, this final story is the culmination of all the work he has done until today, “Four years of Avengers stories. Threads from really every major series I've worked on throughout my last decade and a half at Marvel, from Ghost Rider to Thor. It all leads to this. The biggest Avengers story I could possibly imagine,” said Aaron. “Featuring a cavalcade of characters from across creation. And I'm so deeply thrilled and honored that it all kicks off with an oversized ALPHA issue that's being drawn by the legendary Bryan Hitch, who I'm getting to work with here for the very first time. Avengers Assemble. Say the words like a prayer. It's the only thing that can save you.”
