'Attack On Titan' Series Finale Release Date Announced
After months of anticipation and radio silence from Pony Canyon and MAPPA, the end of the world-renowned anime Attack on Titan finally draws near with the release of a new teaser, and the announcement of a release date for the anime’s final episode.
The final arc of Eren Yeager’s story has seen an emotional rollercoaster spanning several years and multiple parts. Following a change-in-hands from Wit Studio (Great Pretender, Ranking of Kings) to MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man), Attack on Titan’s fourth and final season began airing its first part in December 2020, running for 16 episodes. Part Two would be released a year later in March 2022, airing 12 episodes. Part Three, an hour-long episode titled “Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters Special 1”, aired earlier this year in March 2023. After years of buildup, the anime will reach its conclusion later this year.

Attack on Titan is based on the manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama starting in 2009, with chapters published monthly in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine until its conclusion in 2021, and its finale has been a point of contention among fans. While the anime probably won’t change the ending, new content will likely be included to elaborate on the manga’s original ending.
The final episode of Attack on Titan, like the previous Final Chapters Special, will be an hour long and will be released in Japan on November 4th. As with previous episodes of the anime, the finale will likely be available to stream simultaneously on Crunchyroll and Hulu for international audiences.
