RELATED:

Based on the manga of the same name by Tite Kubo, Bleach originally premiered in 2004 as a weekly series, similar to Naruto or One Piece, before ending unceremoniously in 2012 as the anime caught up to its source material. Ten years later, the series made a comeback with Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, which serves as a sequel to the original anime, and a faithful adaptation of the manga’s final arc, which ended in 2016. Unlike its predecessor, Thousand Year Blood War is a seasonal anime, with its first part, titled “The Blood Warfare” airing during Fall 2022, followed by its second part, “The Separation,” in Summer 2023.

The entirety of Bleach, and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is available to stream on Disney+, or Hulu for American audiences.
