In Variety’s exclusive on the state of known Star Wars movies, there was a line at the end that revealed something people have only been guessing. A release window for the Disney+ series Ahsoka.

Since it was first announced, many fans have wanted to know more about this series. This year is when it will debut, but there’s been nothing but speculation as things are kept under wraps for Star Wars Celebration. In Variety’s article, the claim is that the series will arrive in late summer. It’s only a month before we know whether this is accurate (if its date is revealed at the panel), but it gives a timeframe to be excited about.

While Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 will start with Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase panel, Ahsoka will likely not be included. The reason is that it will have a panel dedicated to it on the second day of Celebration. This panel will likely reveal what this series will be about, along with revealing a few important faces we’ll be seeing across it.

While the TV side of the galaxy far, far away is still going strong, mystery still surrounds the films. Variety has confirmed two cancellations, with Patty Jenkins and Kevin Feige no longer involved with Star Wars projects. Yet 2025 and 2027 still are set for galactic releases. The opening panel of Star Wars Celebration may reveal something surprising for film fans.
