A Third 'Hocus Pocus' Movie Is In Development

These days, every series is getting sequels and being turned into franchises. With many recent examples of films from a while back getting expanded upon, Hocus Pocus, originally made in 1993, got a sequel last year. The series is on its way to becoming a trilogy, with a third film now on the horizon.
The kid-friendly Halloween-based film stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as a trio of witches who are sisters. Sean Bailey, the president of Walt Disney Pictures confirmed to The New York Times that a third movie will be happening.
Other live-action films currently in development by Disney include remakes of Moana, Hercules, and Lilo & Stitch.
