A Teaser Trailer For DC's 'Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths Part 2' Has Been Released
Infinite Earths means infinite excitement for DC’s newest animated project. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 2 received its first trailer and it is important to address the project as a whole, first and foremost.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy takes on one of the most popular storylines in the DC Comics into the animated universe of the franchise. These projects take place within the Tomorrowverse, which sets them in a different context and universe than the upcoming Creature Commandos series.
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1 was released on January 9th, 2024, and both sequels are scheduled to be released throughout the year. It is speculated that the trilogy will be the last project of the Tomorrowverse, clearing the path for Creature Commandos to start James Gunn’s new DCU.

The trailer for the second part takes a great focus on Kara Danvers/Supergirl and hints at her importance in the resolution of the crisis itself. Interestingly enough, recently a new Supergirl was chosen for the upcoming Superman: Legacy movie. These coincidences are rarely unplanned in projects as big as the imminent DCU reboot, which begs the question: will the two universes be somehow connected through Kara Danvers?
It may be a little early to tell (and maybe it is just a big stretch), but the future of DC animated films looks promising. With enough dedication to telling a good story, this trilogy may be just what DC needs to reignite the passion of their fans.
