A New Trailer Has Been Released For Rian Johnson's 'Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery'

Fans of the 2019 box-office hit were delighted to the release of a trailer that provided a look at the upcoming sequel that showcased Daniel Craig slicing his way back onto the big screen as Benoit Blanc in the latest trailer for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The trailer features Edward Norton as Miles Bron staging a murder-mystery game similar to the always popular Clue board game on his private island in Greece. Of course, an actual murder takes place and draws Craig's Benoit Blanc into action to solve the case. Other stars such as Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista will round out the supporting cast.

Glass Onion continues not only the franchise but a revival of the detective genre in the spirit of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes. Director Rian Johnson intends for the film to combine elements from the previous Christie novels, such as whodunit and the getaway murder mystery, balancing playfulness with suspense. The film will begin a limited theatrical run on November 23 to promote the movie's eventual Netflix release, marking the first Netflix film ever to be released into theaters before its international debut on the streaming giant on December 23.
