A New Trailer For 'That 90s Show' Has Been Released Online, And The Nostalgia Is Real
That ‘70s Show fans rejoice, for a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel series That ‘90s Show has been released.
The 10-episode series moves the action to 1995, putting the focus on Eric and Donna’s teenage daughter Leia, who is wanting some adventure of her own. On a visit to her grandparents in Point Place, she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen and is introduced to her friends. Convincing her parents to let her stay for the summer, Leia is ready to reinvent herself with a summer of antics with new people.
Callie Haverda is playing Leia, with Ashley Aufderheide playing Gwen. Among Gwen’s friends are her loveable brother Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan) and his girlfriend Nikki (Sam Morelos), the perceptive Ozzie (Reyn Doi), and flirty young videographer Jay (Mace Coronel). Jay’s parents are Michael and Jackie from the original series, who will appear in this new series played by their original actors Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis respectively.
Other returning cast members from That ‘70s Show include Leia’s parents Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon), and grandparents Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith). Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) also returns, bringing most of the original teenage friends back. All are seen at some point within the trailer, with that trailer capturing what made That ‘70s Show special. This is sure to bring the nostalgia flowing when the series makes its debut on Netflix on 19 January 2023.
