A New Trailer For 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' Has Been Released

The fifth movie in the ‘Monsterverse’, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, has had its trailer released. The official Godzilla x Kong page on Twitter posted the official trailer, which is now also available to be seen on YouTube.
The trailer implies that there is a large threat that both monsters are afraid of. It then shows King Kong and some humans finding a bunch of other Kongs, who appear to be ready to go to war. The trailer also shows Kong being injured, and having one of his arms replaced by a metal one built by humans, and ends with King Kong fighting alongside Godzilla, while also referencing the events of the series’ previous movie, Godzilla vs. Kong.
The movie will be directed by Adam Wingard, who also directed the last installment of the franchise. Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater are listed as writers, with Rossio, Wingard, and Barret listed as being in charge of the story. It will be released to theatres on March 29, 2024, joining Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla King Of The Monsters, and Godzilla vs Kong in the ‘monsterverse’, which has been running since 2014.
