We are only a few days away from the premiere of Ahsoka on Disney+, and the excitement could not be higher. The show will follow Ahsoka Tano trying to find her friend Ezra Bridger, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. The show will also feature some familiar faces, like Hera Syndulla, and Sabine Wren. From the trailers, it appears that the show will have a lot of influence from the animated series, Star Wars Rebels. Disney has just released a clip ahead of the Ahsoka premiere, called “Dual Lightsaber”.

The clip features Hera and Ahsoka in action. Hera is flying a ship, trying to avoid the Empire’s shots at her. Chopper is in the droid seat, and we see him tap the side of the ship. Hera, with more important things on her mind, tells Chop to “keep his lid on”. It cuts to Ahsoka, who is fighting a droid, and a person with a red lightsaber, who reveals a second blade at the end of the fight. While Ahsoka is no longer considered a Jedi, it seems she has been keeping up with her Jedi training, and it's evident during this fight. The clip didn’t give anything new away and showed a lot from what we have seen in the trailer.

From this very short clip, it seems that Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be an excellent live-action Hera Syndulla. The makeup to make her look like Hera was extremely well done, and it will be exciting to see how she brings this character to life. Rosario Dawson plays an excellent Ahsoka, as we saw in The Mandalorian. It will be great to see more of Rosario as Ahsoka in live-action and have her version of the character be fleshed out a bit more. Ahsoka and the remainder of the Ghost crew seem to have a fight on their hands, and it will be exciting to watch.

Ahsoka premieres August 22nd, at 6 pm PST on Disney+.
