A Clip From 'Tales Of The Empire' Has Been Released
Star Wars: Tales of The Empire, a spiritual successor to Tales of the Jedi is only a week away, but fans were treated to a sneak peak. The clip showed Morgan Elsbeth encountering General Grievous as he intends to massacre Dathmir. Morgan manages to hold her own with the General after invoking some Nightsister magic. The series is six episodes long and follows two women across different eras. One story is the path of Morgan Elsbeth as she seeks to expand the Empire; the other is the story of Jedi Barriss Offee who finds herself adapting to a constantly changing galaxy.
Dave Filoni created the show with Athena Yvette Portillo, Carrie Beck, Josh Rimes, and Alex Spotswood as producers. Diana Lee Insonato reprises her role of Morgan from Ahsoka, Meredith Salenger lends her voice to Jedi Barriss, and Rya Kihlstedt plays the role of the Fourth Sister. Wing T. Chao, Jason Issac, and Matthew Wood will voice Wing, the Grand Inquisitor, and General Grievous. Lars Mikkelsen returns to the role of Thrawn. The series will drop all six episodes on Disney Plus on Star Wars Day, May 4. Check out Morgan and Grievous' showdown in the clip below.
