Matt Murdock's 7 Best Moments
After Daredevil was canceled by Netflix, fans were unsure of whether or not we would ever see Matt Murdock again. It was then announced that a reboot was happening on Disney+, with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onfrio returning. Even though the reboot is in early development, we have seen the return of Charlie Cox as everyone’s favorite lawyer, Matt Murdock. Most recently, we saw him in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk. He had some great moments in those, and in the Netflix show as well. So here are his best moments from everything he’s been in so far.
7. The Reveal Of Daredevil (Season 1, Episode 13)
This is where Matt finally decides to give up the “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen” moniker and become Daredevil. This episode also showcases the different visions Daredevil and Kingpin have for New York. Kingpin does not believe that New York deserves a better tomorrow and that one man cannot make a difference. Matt believes that he can make a difference. With the suit and weapons, he has finally evened the odds against Kingpin.

6. The Church Fight (Season 3, Episode 10)
Matt gets his Daredevil costume stolen by Bullseye, who also ends up murdering Matt’s priest. This sends Matt into a rage until he hears the priest beg, “Matthew, please forgive us.” A fight occurs between Daredevil and Bullseye. The church is torn to pieces, and blood is spilled on the holy ground. The fight is extremely dark and does not end well for Matt.
5. His Scenes In She-Hulk (She-Hulk Season 1, Episodes 8 And 9)
When we see Daredevil in She-Hulk, he is sporting his new yellow suit. We also get to see him in the courtroom, going against Jennifer Walters. They fight, and then come to a mutual agreement. Jen and Matt even get together. He comes back for the season finale and joins Jen and her family for a family dinner.
4. Deciding To Become Daredevil (Season 1, Episode 10)
When his heightened senses pick up a child being abused by her father, he decides to call Child Protective Services, but the mother refuses to believe something like that could be happening. So Matt takes matters into his own hands. He confronts the father and threatens him to stop abusing his daughter. He decides that if the legal system won’t hold criminals accountable, then he will.
3. Foggy Finding Out Matt Is Daredevil (Season 1, Episodes 9- 10)
Foggy goes to check on his friend after not hearing from him for a while. When he enters Matt’s apartment, he finds a beat-up Daredevil on the floor. When he pulls back the mask, it is revealed to be Matt. Foggy then confronts Matt about everything he has been doing, and they both express themselves freely and openly during the whole thing. It is nice to see, as this is something we do not see too often in a superhero setting. It is one of the most emotional moments of the show and tests Foggy and Matt’s relationship.
2. “A Really Good Lawyer” (Spider-Man: No Way Home)
When you’re a superhero in trouble, who do you call? Nelson and Murdock: Attorneys at Law, or in this case, Matt Murdock. When Peter Parker needs help after being exposed as Spider-Man, Matt Murdock comes to the rescue. A brick is thrown through the window, and Matt’s excellent reflexes have him catch it like it is nothing. He doesn’t reveal his identity to Peter, but tells him that he’s “a really good lawyer.”
1. Hallway Fight (Season 1, Episode 2)
Matt is starting out as The Devil of Hell's Kitchen, dressed in all-black boxing gear that does not offer much protection. This scene has him going after Russian mobsters after they kidnapped a young boy. This three-minute, single-take, fight scene establishes him as a great fighter and is also one of the coolest fight scenes in the whole series.
Matt Murdock is one of the coolest characters created. He had many great moments in Daredevil. Since he is finally part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will get to have even more great moments when Daredevil: Born Again premieres. For now, we have his best moments to hold us over until then.
