Was It Really “Treason Then” For The Jedi To Arrest Palpatine?

It’s treason then. Or was it? EckhartsLadder does a bit of a breakdown of whether or not it was legally right for the Jedi right to remove the elected Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, even though he was a Sith Lord.

EckhartsLadder gives an interesting perspective on this moment in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. He uses actual real world law and his own experiences to go into whether it was justified or not for Jed to essentially remove the Chancellor. He also brings up interesting knowledge from the Expanded Universe, both legends and canon to make his case. It’s a fascinating video dealing with the more legal side of Star Wars
