Marvel Fan's Crazy Reaction To 'She-Hulk' Episode 3
In the first two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Jennifer Walters got turned into a hulk, got trained in being a hulk by her cousin, Bruce Banner, got exposed as the She-Hulk to the world, got fired from her job in the DA’s office, got offered a new job, and got famous representing Emil Blonsky for his parole hearing. The second episode ends with a viral video of her client having apparently escaped from prison. That’s a lot to pack into two episodes. Episode three relaxes a little bit and is probably closer to what the show will be like going forward.
In episode three, ‘The People vs. Emil Blonsky’, there are, like in many sitcoms, two plots. Plot A is where Blonsky’s hearing takes place. Walters needs a special guest to prove that her client was broken out of prison against his will. In the B plot, Walter’s colleague is representing her former coworker in a fraud case. The B plot has its own famous guest star. Then, after both plots have been resolved, there is a scene where Jennifer is attacked after parking her car in some foreshadowing of what’s to come. The whole thing is played for laughs, and to She-Hulk’s credit, most of the jokes land.
